A lot of you support Sailor Universe even though she's considered quite the mary-sue (and I thank you dearly). I've never really spoken of her in depth here for several reasons, but I think it's about time I did. She's what I draw half the time. o_O This isn't an open flame invite, by the way. I'm hoping those who have issues with her can respond in a civilized way.
I've been approached by all kinds of people, male and female, young and old - everywhere telling me she's inspired them in some way or another, and it really does mean the world to me. So, I think she deserves a bit of time in this journal.

Now, I have a few questions for those of you who give a damn about her.

1. She's been drawn several times with a cross staff. Mostly by fans, yet sometimes by me for nothing but creative purposes. In reality, she does not have a "cross staff" weapon. She has a "star-crossed" wand, but...well, it's not a staff. xD She does, however, use a staff in her guardian form which looks nothing like a cross. Since I cannot create a poll here, may I get some responses on who all believes I should redesign that weapon of hers so that it IS a cross? 2. Another thing I'd like to know: What was your first impression of the character? Be honest - trust me, I'm prepared for the worst. And what do you think of her now?

3. Last question: If you could change one thing about this senshi, what would it be, and why?

Onto some random facts about Uni that you probably didn't know before. It does contain fanfic spoilers, but I don't think I should keep these things to myself any longer:

-All my online aliases are forms of hers - pick one, I'll respond to any
-She's first and foremost a half angel; her senshi form is in fact a facade
-I have a giant larger-than-life sketch of Eternal Uni on my wall xD
-Uni and Link do not end up together
-She is forbidden sexual relationships and vulgar language (as she'll soon find out)
-She isn't the only half angel in her world - the others have facades just like her
-Contrary to popular belief, she is not the most powerful in her story
-She is called "Universe" due to her abilities to travel to different universes
-Uni is caring, but she is not "sweet and kind"; she's more rough than anything
-She can't have kids
-She used to bear the names of "queen sakura" and "angel universe"
-Now she's never a "queen", and "angel" is never associated with the name "universe"
-Link screws up her life - on purpose no less
-She was physically modeled after my own image, but taller :]
-She was named Sakura before it was cliche (it's that kind of thing that makes me hate Naruto)
-Her original name is/was Arella
-She is a guardian angel, but not over a specific person - more like the cherubs
-She's awakened to take the place of a previous half-angel
-If she gives into anger or sinful temptation, she'll become a demon
-She cannot ever fly without her wings...despite what's going on in the fanfics currently, trust me xD
-Her body stops aging at 18 years, however, her human body will not last long under angelic pressure (hint, hint)
-Universe will never cease to be a warm light in my life, and she will never cater to the whims of hardcore "otakus". While she is in public, she is not for the public. Yet some do enjoy her, so I keep her here.

And that's all I feel like givin' away right there, but if there are any other questions, I may be able to answer depending on what I want to reveal at this point.

I'm not going to give and estimated amount time for commission completion. Just know that I don't rush things, and neither should you (especially when it comes to art, goodness). :]
