We all have dreams and wishes that we hope to come true someday. A lot of times they seem so far out of reach because we're so focused on wanting them...instead of realizing we need to get up and do something about it.

Bleh. I almost had a heart attack while doing this one. Opencanvas is giving me HELL for some reason. It's lagging like there's no tomorrow. I reinstalled it and everything but it's just....UGH. So as I was trying to save this one time it totally froze....o_o and I had to close it from the task manager. Then I re-opened it...and tried opening the pic again...when all that comes up is a bunch of pixilated brightly colored lines!!!! Dude, we are talking like 15 hours into the picture here!!! I started crying my eyes out (and usually I don't cry over art but...well read my journal if you haven't). I couldn't believe it. So I desperately went digging through my recycle bin and found a copy I'd saved earlier. I had to redo the hair all over again but it was better than having to redo the whole thing.
If I had to redo the whole thing I would've just quit and gone to bed for the rest of the day. It was that depressing.
But anyway. ^^
I'll be posting the original pic of the girl tomorrow (it's HUGE!!!!) so you can see the detail. But for now I need sleep...badly.
Oh yeah, and this sorta reminds me of my Save Me deviation: [link]

Wowm I could never spend 15 hours on something. I just don't have the willpower. @__@
I think it shows that you area serious artist and you have paitence and you aspire for what you love to do ^^
I'm glad you could find the picture and decided to finish it.

Her dress is gorgeous! :D And her hair is really really awesome, it flows and looks realistic.
I also really like the coloring on her skin ^^ they stand out to my for some reason.

Its just kind of oblongy. If you were to remove her hair and picture the shape of her skull it would just be... kind of like.... yeah long. ^^

Hm...I did a sketch first so that I knew I had the anatomy down right. I was so proud of it I made a sort of doll base from it...(a really bad one, but a base none-the-less ^^; ). You can see it here: [link]
Does the head look long there too? I know the foot does but...xD...I changed that in the real thing.
(Oh, and sorry for bothering you with this, I'm just hoping to improve a bit. ^^)

No problem! I am happy to help. It's probably pretty rare for you to get a critical comment anyway. :3 I think in Cry For, the reason it looks so weird is where the hair comes out the bottom/nape of her neck. If you look at the base, it should be following the back of the head up into the pony tail. To have it coming straight out of the ear like that seems to eliminate the shape that should be the back of her head, thus not leaving much room for her brain. <3
