Ok, so...
I did this last year...obviously back when I had 10k pageviews. It is one of the comics that I did for a little Zelda Fan group I'm a part of called "I Rule Hyrule" that was started on the Nsider (Nintendo) Zelda forums. (not open to accepting new members though, sorry  )You can find the rest of the comics here: [link] And as stated at the top of the strip, I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING AGAINST NEKOYASHA. In fact, I love the girl to death, she cracks me up. ^^ This was just for fun. I decided to post it because.....I can....? I may even post some other ones in the near future. |

True, Nekoyasha has great comics, but your art is also amazing. I'm still just trying to aspire to gain some recognition! lol.
Perhaps you should make a manga or something? I think you'd be good at it.

1 - It never does good for one to compare one's own artwork with that of another's. Trust me, I've dealt myself some serious blows to the noggin before I learned this fact.
2 - Comparing your artwork to miss Neko-yasha's is like comparing "The venture brothers" to "Aqua Teen Hunger Force". The first has the better story, jokes, graphics, and shit; Where as the other is popular amongst the whiny emos and psuedo-intellectuals(See pot-heads), and is only good for the occasional one-liners.
3 - People rarely want ultra hi-res and original, and want more of the same old bland rip-off crap. Ever wonder why most of the stuff on Deviant art consist of "OC"s(in quotation for sarcastic value) of popular series seen on cartoon network and Nickolodean.
